Suspension plasma spraying has aroused much research efforts over the two last decades to describe and understand in-flight mechanisms of suspension processing by developing advanced diagnostics models. This field highlighted intricate prevailing dependence coating properties, especially rich variety attainable microstructures, on thermal dynamic histories submicron particles in jet. paper gives an overview major key points control from torch operation up build-up. The main methods are examined most models as well. perspectives focus issues improve basic understanding phenomena. They also insist a necessary multiscale approach combine order form relevant data flows for machine learning algorithms better process prediction reliability.
